Tormek’s Tool Rest is ideal for grinding turning scrapers and special tools for woodcarving such as large scorps and inshaves. It also works with cabinet scrapers, screwdrivers, and hollowing tools. The tool rest has a generous surface, 90 x 110mm (3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″), which permits a safe and steady positioning ofthe tool towards the stone. The bore is made with a special wedge shape, which increases the locking force by 250 percent, and the Tool Rest can be locked instantly at a chosen angle. This unique design is patented by Tormek.
